Hi everyone. I just want to give everyone an update on Kelsey. Kelsey is out of ICU! She's on the cardiac floor. Chest tube, central line and arterial line were removed. Her pain is well managed and she continues to improve steadily

The surgeon attempted to do the robotic surgery but had to transition to open heart surgery. Yesterday was rough but today she's doing exceptionally well and recovering very quickly. She's in very good spirits and looking forward to going home and continue her recovery. THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT PRAYED, DONATED OR OTHWERWISE WERE PART OF THIS CHALLENGING JOURNEY IN HER LIFE AND OURS. WE ARE DEEPLY GRATEFUL FOR EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF YOU!!! She's expected to be in the hospital for at least 5 days after which she'll be discharged from the hospital and return for her first post-opt appointment up 2 to 3 days later.
